In short
Tumbo currently only uses necessary cookies to make the site work. They are used for login, security, and remembering your session as you move around the site.
We do not use cookies for marketing, advertising, or third-party analytics such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They can be used to keep you logged in, protect forms from misuse, or remember technical choices.
Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They are not cookies in the strict technical sense, but they can store small pieces of information in your browser.
Cookies and technologies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| tumbo-session | Keeps track of your session so login and normal navigation work. | Necessary cookie | Up to about 120 minutes without activity, unless your browser or the server clears it earlier. |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms and actions against cross-site request forgery. | Necessary security cookie | Usually the same lifetime as the session. |
| appearance | Stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser local storage. | Local browser storage | Until you change the setting or clear browser data. |
| tracked-post-views | Used in session storage to avoid recording the same image view more than once in the same browser session. | Session storage | Until the browser tab or session is closed. |
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies usually do not require consent because they are used to provide a function you requested or to protect the service. If you block them, parts of Tumbo may stop working, including login, forms, and security checks.
Analytics, statistics, and marketing
We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

- You can block cookies fully or partly, depending on your browser.

Changes to this cookie policy
We may update this cookie policy if we change the technology on the site or start using new cookies. The latest version will always be available on this page.
